Action Required: Affected Members
A policy grievance and a group grievance have been filed regarding mileage submissions.
If you have experienced any issues with submitting mileage claims, it is important that you add your name to the attached list.
This includes members who:
- Were unable to submit mileage based on the way they actually worked;
- Submitted a claim that was denied; or
- Did not submit a claim because they followed the new policy, resulting in a lower reimbursement than they would have otherwise received.
In many policy grievances, any remedy is applied only on a go-forward basis. To help preserve the possibility of a retroactive remedy if the grievance is successful, we are also filing a group grievance.
To be included in the group grievance, we need a complete list of all affected members. If you meet any of the criteria above, please add your name to the list as soon as possible.
Please ensure you keep an accurate record of all mileage, including dates, times, start and end locations, and any other relevant details, as this information may be required to support your claim.
